Pirate Charities and Good Sports Event

Pirates Charities and Good Sports to Support Squirrel Hill Baseball Association with New Equipment

July 18 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm must arrive by 3:50pm.

Pirates Charities and Good Sports will be unveiling a donation of more than $15,000 in baseball equipment for Squirrel Hill Baseball Association.  Participants and staff will be gathering for a donation ceremony in conjunction with the organization's baseball activities.

WHO:  Pittsburgh Pirates Chris Archer, Pirates Charities and Good Sports will join participants and staff from Squirrel Hill Baseball Association.  In addition Pirate owner Bob Nutting, and President Frank Coonelly, and City Councilman Corey O'Connor will  be attending.

WHAT: Squirrel Hill Baseball Association will receive a variety of brand-new baseball equipment such as bats, catcher's
equipment, and batting helmets to support their youth baseball programming - valued at over $15,000.

WHY: This is the second of three donations being made through the partnership between Good Sports and Pirate Charities
in support of local community baseball and softball programs.
