Dear Squirrel Hill Baseball Families,
As our spring baseball season gets closer, we want to update you on our plan, as it stands right now. We are continuing to monitor how the COVID-19 or Coronavirus may impact our organizational operations and we continue to review the releases of information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Allegheny County Health Department and school districts who we service.
We have been advised by the city of Pittsburgh not to start practicing until at least Monday April 13th, and this is what we will follow. This will allow us plenty of time to begin our season. We will continue to approach any decisions to postpone or change as necessary and we will communicate any updates or changes to schedules.
In the meantime, we are currently working on what our procedures will look like at the fields and our snack bar once we begin playing. These decisions will be made in conjunction with our leadership as well as the Allegheny County Health Department suggestions. We will be certain to forward these procedures to you once they are in place.
Should you have any questions, please contact Randy Frankel at 412-897-6835 or email at [email protected].
Thank you!
